    I don’t mean to brag…but who else could go to an ice fishing contest…

    and come home with a golf trophy?

    It was great meeting everyone at the Rochester GTG…you too Sgt Rock!

    I’m thinking your favorite wife scratches her head watching you about as much as mine does. It’s fun when it gets to the point they don’t even ask…they just shake thier head…and walk away.

    Well Brian…you are the only fishermen we know who talks about golf on a fishing site so…. you get the trophy with a golf club BUT notice the purple [oh gee…did I say that color?] jig on top of the golf ball.

    Congrats Bud. It could only happen to you, I mean to someone as nice as you.

    My wife scratches her head alot. I cook her breakfast and send her out the door to work and say have a nice day. Today I had to add Happy Birthday to it.
    Glad I won a nice Okuma reel from HOF. Got her present covered.

    I thought you were so deserving of that trophy. Catching the big fish and winning the grand prize of a new custom rod. And then donating it back to the pool for us losers to get a shot. Called it the Good Sportsmanship award.

    I tought about the beer tap idea but Briank never talks about beer. Only golf and kitties. And mounting a bullhead on it would have made it an Iowa trophy.
    Did I say that.
