Has anyone had any experience using an LX2 ICE? A coworker is looking at one that he feels has a good price or at least affordable for him. I can’t help as I’m using a Vex FL-8 that I’ve had for several years. Now Bret Clark tells me I should have an LX5!

Mike, I have used one all year as part of the testing on the unit. It is a solid unit and does everything the FL-18 does and still has more power to offer and comes standard with a soft pack.
The zoom is a bottom locking zoom and you can zoom in on the bottom 5ft or 10ft. It basically has the same color scheme as the Vexilar units. It would be a nice upgrade for anyone using a FL-8.
