Spent Sat and Sunday out on the lake in the fingers and down at the grade. All I can say is that I wish I would have stayed home. I 8 hours of ice fishing, no flags and not one panfish over 3inches. It may have been the worst weekend of ice fishing I have ever had in 25 years of fishing the lake. 
I guess you have to have them once and a while. Anyway, I would recomend trying any place else. I have heard that the Madison chain is getting better again now that they have some ice. Still if you go there, be careful, I KNOW THERE IS STILL THIN ICE IN MANY PLACES.
