Big ICE sale at Eau Claire Gander Mtn

    Most of the Ganders are probably clearing their shelves of ice fishing stuff. I went to the Eau Claire GM tonight to get another 12V battery tray for the C-Liner and found an abundance of ice fishing stuff for sale:

    20% off tip-ups
    20% off ice rods
    20% off ice combos
    Otter Lodge 449 vs. 659 regular price
    Otter Cabin 399 vs. 589
    Otter cottage 329 vs 469
    All the other houses were on sale too (Clams, fishtraps, etc)
    No sale on electronics except for the GM store brand.

    Somebody please go and buy all this stuff so they can start stocking the shelves for open water, which should begin statewide next week if the weather stays this way.

    Brainer/Baxter has the same sale. A clarification on the Otter houses, that is for the pro-set up; sled, tent, 2 deluxe swivel seats, and the cover. Everything but the hitch and hyfax for $449 for the Lodge. Apply for their Credit card and get another 10% off that price, smokin’ deal!

    I work at a sporting goods store down in Marshall, MN and all of our ice gear is 20% off also. The fish houses are really cheap. We have the fishtrap Yukons for $450, but I was given permission to go even lower than that. I also would be willing to make some great deals on an auger. My manager hates filling the back room with ice gear. If he can break even on some ice stuff now, it is out the door. Oh yeah, I have a couple Frabill Ranger XLTs and some Shappell houses that would be real nice to get rid of. Somebody please make a road trip so I don’t have to put all this stuff away.

    Now that got the wheels turning. I could have one Yukon new in the box for you in Ramsey, MN by Sunday night. $450 + $5 for me to lug it home. Let me know before 6pm today.

    Anyone happen to know if the Otter sleds are on sale? Best time to buy stuff is now for sure.

    $299.99 at Gander in Forest Lake they have not budged on price!

    Try Gander Mountain in Fridley. I was there two weeks ago and they had 5% off all ice fishing stuff, and if I remember right, it was more than that on the IceArmor suits.

    The Gander there is the only one that is still in the old Holiday Sports store next to Cub off of Hwy 47. I think they are moving to a new place, so everything is on sale. I even noticed camping supplies and all fieldwear are marked down 20%.

    I would think the sales would only get better, at least as long as they are still in that building.
