    Just got back from here with minimal luck. we picked up about 15 crappies but we were there for 5 hours. had a few northern on tip ups too. there were people driving on the lake with cars and we saw some full size trucks. didnt risk it here. ice was about 10-12 solid inches.

    There is a bit of open water out on Island lake that I have seen the past few days right near the creek coming in by Hwy 22. There is no way I would be driving out there. Thanks for the report.
