Mille Lacs Ice driving?

    Hello
    new to the site and the area!
    Was thinking about a first ever trip to Mille Lacs this weekend!
    Should I bring a atv or is there enough safe Ice to drive a full size pick up?
    Any tips would be great!!

    Click here for more info on ice on mille lacs/ there is a get together there for all IDA members. I was up last week for the whole week. There were vehicles all over out there, just watch out for the cracks/pressure ridges. I don’t know the current conditions of the ice. Check out the ice fishing forum or the mille lacs forum.

    Yes do keep and eye on Bobber’s thread for ice conditions and other info for our Get ToGether this weekend.

    If you are going to be up there, might as well look for the GTG out of Hunters Point on the East Side. Stop in ask George Saturday, where we are located and I’m sure he can point you in the right direction .
