If you’re looking for a lake to take the kidlins for a lot of sunny action, Round is fantastic. If you have a shelter, it’s even better because you can look down the holes and see tons of fish. I didn’t catch any over 7 inches, but I had a good time. Talked to a couple guys who said there are walleyes, but big shiners were the only other things I saw swim through. It’s just a mile or so north of the Walmart off of Hwy 10 and Round Lake Road. There was about 10 inches of ice and I only had to walk a hundred yards for action.
