Ice conditions continue to deteriorate around the state. Be sure to check with a local bait shop or resort located on or near the lake(s) that you’re considering fishing on, before heading out.

The 2005 Fishing Season ending date is February 26, 2006, and not February 19th, as listed in the 2005 Fishing Regulations book (the books were printed before the date change was made by the Legislature).

The fishing season never ends Bud. You can always fish for panfish and the Mississippi River pool 4 is always open for eyes and sauger. In other words-my life and love for fishin is ALWAYS ON!
    Thanks, Bill
