    I’m just wondering about what time this lake opens up for boating in the spring. I am guessing that no matter what it may be earlier this year.

    fihinbuddy, usually by about the end of April, she is pretty much busted up. There has been some years, where a guy is nervous about big chunks, on the opener, which is typically the 2nd week in May.

    I think the Average date is around April 22nd or so.

    I think the offical date was April 20 this past year.
    That was my guess in a post in the ice fishing forum and I think I won. My prize must still be in the mail!
