i use opti-2 comes in a little packet and add it to like a gallon of gas, supposed to be smokelees, ashless, and fuel stabilizer and i will say that in my lazormag and it did seem to run really good, and it smells good, smells like your running race gas mmmmmm..just my 2 cents…
Luke-I am not sure of the name but I know it is regular 2 stroke oil. I usually get it at Gander and it comes in a small black plastic bottle with a red and black label. The bottle is perfect because you add 1 to a gallon of gas. I have also bought the same stuff at most bait shops. I have never tried the synthetic so I won’t try and comment on that.
I starting using the Amsoil 100:1 Saber synthetic oil this winter. I’ve heard nothing but gresat reports on this oil and so far it’s been workingh grest for me in my augers. I’m mixing it a little richer for now at 85:1. No smoke and the augers have performed flawlessly.
the red and black bottle is the Jiffy ice oil. I use it and can’t say anyting bad about it. To be honest though any good oil will work. Important thing is to use fresh gas. Bad gas is the culprit to bad running augers I only use gas for 1 month in my auger. I dump it out and start over.
