Well, I made it out to St. James lake over the holidays. Had amazing action the 24th and still had a nice bite on the 25th. There is a good 8 inches of ice everywhere I checked. Saw some vehicles on the ice, NOT MINE, right off the landing. 
Fish were hitting on just about everything we put down there. You will have to sort a little, but all in all the lake is producing nicely right now. Ted
