Self hook-setting ice fishing pole.

    This past weekend I saw an add for an ice fishing dead stick type pole that will “set the hook” when you get a bite. It is set then left and the pole is bent over and will pop up when you get a bite, setting the hook. It was during the Sunday fishing shows, and there was a website listed, but I can not remember the address. Anyone know what I am talking about?????

    They are ILLEGAL for use in Minnesota.

    Don’t know for sure, but, probably illegal in Wisconsin too.

    They are legal in Wisconsin.
