    Check with EyeGuide.
    This is his home territory.
    I haven’t been out there for years with him, but I’m sure he still keeps himself in the know

    Ice is solid, but be aware of the aerator on the north end. Bring waxies and crappie minnows. LOTS of sunnies. You really have to sorth through to find any keepers.

    HOWEVER;
    I personally wouldn’t eat anything out of that water…..It is receives runoff from the city streets and there is a TON of geese and ducks down there that “contribute”…….I would have to think that anything eaten out of there would taste a little like “sewer” for lack of better terms……

    I went down a week ago last Sunday. Reports were slow and ice then was 5″……..
