Coon Lake updates?

    Anyone been out to Coon Lake? Ice thinkness? Northern bite? Sizes? someone throw this guy a (fish) bone….

    Hacker, I was out there on Saturday on the snowmobile. I stopped by my brothers house. There was a ton of soft spots and slush / open water. My brother had his house out on the West side with 7-8″ of ice. One tip up hole did have 6″. That was Saturday afternoon. I’ll give him a jingle to see what he has been catching.

    Thanks for the update. That lake has always been a late bloomer… so to speak. Always the last one to freeze over. But it has always been my “old reliable” when I am needing to fill the freezer. Look forward to hearing more!
