The boys and I hit the hard water today for a few hours.I still haven’t been on the IGL’s hard water as the farm pond bite has been good for us.Austin and I were in the XL Twin while Cole was hole jumping trying to find active fish.He had 10 fish on the ice before Austin and I moved closer and got into the action.Cole jumped in with us and he and Austin caught around 100 fish.Nothing big but alot of fun.

At sundown the gills got very active. They were coming in 2-3′ thick at times.

Don’t overlook the smaller ponds when it comes to ice.You can usually find active fish to keep the kids busy.

Looks like you abd the boys had a great day Ryan, Congrats.

Getting a few off the IGL but no numbers like you guys are getting. Maybe you need to send Cole up and show us how its done. Tell him I’ll bring the jerky

Thanks for the report and pics Bud. Those boys of your sure know how to have a good time. Very good to see him checking out different holes for fish. Moving till you find them works best. Hes been taught right.
    Thanks, Bill
