I heard that Garrison Sports put the front end of their truck through the ice this morning. They were trying to get rid of some of the slush where they drive onto the ice. Be careful. Remember no ice is 100% safe.
Yes I talked to Kerry and the ice is not ready for road traffic in Garrison. Only the plow blade went in.. Atv or foot only..
rocky reef had the same thing happen 10 yards offshore…he has it staked off, but would only recommend atv or snowmobile travel.
Went riding this morning in the west metro. Somebody took off across a private lake. You could see he was skipping on water for about 75 yards before he got to good ice. I guess once you get started you better not let off.
