ice update

I spent the morning driving around Prior, Spring and fish lake. I talked to a retired guy who just came in from fishing Fish lake and he said the ice was 4″. He also mentioned that last night 10 or so portables were scattered on Spring lake. I then stopped in to Prior lake bait shop and was told the word was 3″-5″ on Prior depending where you were, and that people were fishing off of the north launch island last night. Driving by the south launch I didn’t see any activity. The creek between south Prior and Spring is still flowing strong with no signs of ice. Not sure if this completely freezes or not as I’m new to the area!?! Thought I’d pass this info on. Good luck and be safe!! D.
