made it out!

hey guys,

Went to backbone lake tonight we didnt do good. we were out there for 30-40mins but it feels alot better than sittin at home. like i said no fish were cought but still had fun out there, we seen about 32 deer cross the ice and took a few pics. but it was kinda dark so theres only one good one. oh yeah 50 feet out there was 5-6″ of ice we stayed pretty close just incase. but it was a good thing to get out

I made it out for the first time today too on a pond in Iowa City. I got about twenty bluegills and one small bass. Nothing real big, but I got some eaters. It is great to be out on the ice, isn’t it?

oh yeah it sure is nice to be out again i couldnt wait any longer… i think this weekend were hittin the ol miss and and i might try a little pond around here.
