Buffalo Ice

    Any one been out between Buffalo and Annandale? Looking to get an Idea on how the Ice is shaping up.

    Multiple portables on buffalo and one small permanent this morning on north side by courthouse, have not been out yet on buffalo myself after snowmobile went down on saturday. After last 2 nights should be 4-6 everywhere though

    A permanent house went through on the south side yesterday. I went out there today and drilled some holes, 5″ closer to shore and as little as 2 1/2″ towards the middle. Needless to say, I quickly made an exit from the middle of the lake!

    Thats the problem with ice. It can be thick in one spot and thin in another spot not far awhile. Its pretty early yet so its much safer to stay in shallow water so if you do go in atleast its not over your waist. Please becarefull. A fish is NOT worth your life. Stay shallow.

    Any one heard what the snow has done to Buffalo?
