Went up to my hometown lake to see how the ice making was coming along, well i drilled one hole and it was about 2inches. then i drilled one off the end of the dock and it was still 2 inches! so it wont belong before im out there maybe sunday! im really looking to it.

geeez how is it that u guys in Iowa have the same ice as we do up here, very disheartening
JC, We might head into mancherster this afternoon to check out a little pond and see how much ice is on that, let you guys know about it

2″? how come you didnt fish it? thats enough….I would have at least sat on the dock and popped a few before i would have turned around and gone home! 
i would of but i didnt have any of my stuff and i wasnt really dressed warm. i’ll there all weekend i hope(i wont leave the ice) i wish
