    Funny thing is I’ve never gone through ice-fishing; but I’ve gone through pheasant hunting about a half dozen times. Fortunately never past my waist. Last year the freakin beavers left a weak spot I found with about 10″ of ice everywhere else. The ice never gets safe, just safer.
