Looking for info. on the Eskimo Stingray auger. They are on sale at Fleet Farm for I believe $229.00. They are only 1.2hp, but are very light and run at a higher rpm. I’m sure it won’t be the fastest auger, but not looking to race anyone. Any opinions guys??? Thanks…….

Brother-in-law bought a used eskimo 6 years ago and it hasn’t missed a beat. There not as fast as my jiffy but as long as it puts a hole in the ice.
I bought one last year at Gander Mtn after Christmas when the price dropped a little for after holiday sale. Probobly only cut 50 holes but I’m very pleased with it. And yes it’s no speed demon.
