It has been cold down here in SW Minnesota. Today, many little ponds were ice covered. I walked about 10 yards across a shallow pond. Tomorrow I am going to try the golf course pond across the street. The guage says 10 degrees right now and it is supposed to get colder. I think the ice will be gone by the end of the weekend, but I still can say that there was walkable ice on Nov. 16th.

The pond We were ducking hunting today froze all the way over. Man is that hard paddling. It was about 1/2 inch thick by 9 AM.
