Ground Blind as Ice house

    Been thinking that my ground blind would be a good portable ice house. It doesn’t have a bottom in it, but I am pretty sure I have a way to anchor it figured out.

    Most sporting goods stores sell ice anchors that will work perfectly for you.
    This is Clam’s ice anchor kit.

    I once saw a VW Bug as an ice house so your ground blind sounds fine to me.

    Drive around on Red Lake some time. You will soon find out just about anything can be used for a fish house, especially if you don’t need to be portable with it.
