My first year with the Otter. How do you guys store them? Take the canvas off the sled? Flat on the ground or tipped up? Mothballs for mice? Any help appreciated.

They make a bracket to hang it on the wall in the garage, I just put a travel cover on it and put it on the shelf in the shed.
March 28, 2005 at 3:45 am #352778PUTZ I’ve got an OTTER and I have just folded it down and put up on a shelf above my work bench laying flat haven’t had a problem with mice at my house maybe some else has an idea for you
March 28, 2005 at 1:05 pm #352830What I have heard that some guy’s do is remove the top and fold it into a large storage bin. Than you can store the sled and frame any place! Just make sure not to crease the window’s as they may crack…

For my Otter, I just take off the canvas and store it in a plastic tote in my bedroom closet(as Bobber said don’t crease the windows). Clean the sled and leave it in the garage. I also like to lube the poles while the canvas is off, easier and one less thing to due in fall.dave
