With the cooler temps the last weekend the ice is still in great condition. Caught a lot of fish this weekend, but getting quality was a little tougher than last weekend. Fished east and west rush saturday and sunday. Found lots of smaller crappies on west(shallow and deep) and few better ones on east(in shallow). Was looking for perch on west but could not find them shallow or deep. Was able to catch a few better sunnies on both lakes in 5 foot of water or less. My brother even caught a 9 inch sunny in 28 feet of water on West rush along with some smaller ones. Maybe some warmer weather will turn the bigger fish on again.
