Did some ice fishing on the beautiful sunday we had. Fished a popular lake near rush city. Was fishing in 4-5 feet of water including the weeds. Caught some dandy crappies, biggest was 13 inches long. Sorry no pics, haven’t been able to get a digital camera yet. Also caught some 8-inch plus sunnies. It definitely was not a fast bite yesterday. Did a lot of hole hopping to find active fish. Luckily, a guy out there had an underwater camera to affirm the fish were there, otherwise I would not have stuck it out all day in that area. I highly recommend getting one after yesterday’s tough bite. The fish were right in the weeds toward bottom for most of the day. Toward late afternoon they moved closer to the ice. Most colors and lures seemed to work, including rockers, ants, ratfinkes, and demons. Just had to keep moving.
