    Hello all,
Just to let you know there is plenty of ice, atleast 10″ under the slush, on Horseshoe!
I fished from the North end and finished down by the mouth.
I never caught a panfish – DIG A HOLE – CATCH A BASS, DIG A HOLE – CATCH A BASS, ETC…. I didn’t keep any and not to worry none of them were over 10 pounds…

But I really AM hungry for bass.
    Nobody takes me seriously anymore.
Guess if I want fish to eat I’ll have to follow Bill Cadwell to his secret spots.

Noel, Good to hear from ya! I thought Horseshoe might come on late in the season. Too bad about the bass running all the panfish out

    Herb, I’ll ride with ya!!

    Hello Jason,
Horseshoe Lake is south of the parking lot midway between Iowa and Wisconsin when you cross over at Marquette,Iowa.

    Hi Brian,
I was really surprised – not even a bait stealing dink…Maybe they found out I’ve been checking out the kinds of bait to use for catfishing (Bluegill) and are steering clear of me!
Anyway, good to hear from you also.
    Tightlines,
    Noel
