Big Round Walleyes

    Since Menomin and Tainter dont sound like the place to be for walleyes. Has anyone caught any descent walleyes on big round or any other lakes around that area?

    Big Round by Hayward?? Cannot speak to the ice-fishing, but it can be dynamite in spring and early summer. Fish the hump in the bay between Big and Little Round with a splitshot and minnow/crawler. Drag along the bottom sloooow.

    sorry, there is probably 100 lakes that are called big round in wisconsin, i am talking about Big Round in Polk County.

    Hey Stark,
    I fished Big Round yesterday, caught several large perch but no walleyes. I do know that some of the locals catch them between the two sunken bars in the north central area, where I was. I did have a nice day fishing. Sorry this is late but…..
