    somebody has to start this thread. who picked the right day last year??? oh, i think i remember, it was me!!! i just want to say that i really enjoyed the all expense paid by me trip to the puddle that i gave myself for guessing the right day. if i remember right it was a 3 fish day, 50″, 46″, and a 40.5″. for 2005 i think that i will pick………..

    Man I just don’t know………I’m out fishing a few days and I miss this post. I guess I will just keep everyone up-to-date on the ice condition! I would have picked April 18th…….as I think we are going to have an early ice out.

    Well it’s March 21st and the lake is still in great shape….My new guess is May 2nd!!!!

    I have not been on the ice in over a week now, but I have heard from some guys that have been out on the ice that it is going quick. One guy said that it is only around 24 inches thick and that it is all honeycombed!

    I think that anyone that has picked the week of April 18th on should be setting pretty good. The ice is up tight to the rocks on my shoreline but my boat harbor is almost open! I think that I’ll beable to get the boat on the lift next week!!!!!!!!!

    There were groups of people scattered in Wahkon Bay on Sat. Saw two trucks and lots of ATV traffic.
