I think we need to do a winter GTG on Mille Lacs. I’d be all over that!

It would be even better to time it with a good Perch bite.

Had a great time also. Got to see a lot of people at the onion stand but as Dave said, couldn’t put faces with names without name tags. Hope no one had any ill effects from the onions or the schnapps.

A couple of suggestions for next year (or next week).
Let’s give Chappy some cooking lessons before we put him in charge of the grill again.
Let’s have the GTG a little farther away from a riverboat.
Let’s give BrianK a little money so he can buy a better brand of schnapps.

Again, a great time and I’m ready for another.

BTW, Dave, who promised that poor kid a ride to the motel from Mulligan’s. We found him wandering the streets Sat night. (Not really)

With God as my witness… I won’t be taking any Saturday classes next winter. PDC is only 150 miles from me.

I wish I could have been there. Looks like a great time.

Putz, you cook some mean onions and peppers. You better be there next year. Thanks for the trash bags Jimbo. The janitor is just as important as the CEO.
Buckshot, thanks for the hockey tape and felt pen. If not for that, I wouldn’t have known who I was. Got a hug for ya buddy!
Special thanks to all of you who provided transportation. Without you it would have been a difficult one for sure.
A very heartfelt thank you to the ladies who showed up this year. Now you know why The Red Green Show is so popular.
And to all, thanks for making this GTG the biggest, bestest by far. There just aren’t enough hours in the day to meet and talk with all of you and that’s probably the only down side of the whole weekend.
    You guys are great!

Wait a minute! Dave finds the empty bottle of Ice Hole brought by the ice hole and I had 3′ left in the bottle of the good stuff? Does that say something about our taste or the fact that Briank calls it even when he brings a half pint to my 750 ml? Shoulda brought out the Phillips sooner.

BTW did anyone else notice the small male rainsuit lying on the ground by the landing? Mike W. and I had one float by us while in his boat at the summer GTG. Do I detect a pattern here?
