Drove out to the lake at 7AM.Plenty of ice for driving, but still alot of people walking down from the road.Caught 16 keeper gills[all released],biggest 8″,and 1 8″ crappie.Lots of bigger fish swimmin around, but could’nt get them to bite.Around 8:30,the little guys showed up and the bite was pretty much over. This is only the 2nd time I used a Marcum 400 camera, and it is definatly a blast.I can’t believe how I got along ice fishin without one before.Alot of the bites I would’nt of known I had without it.Just like watchin TV.

Lawrence lake bite is diffinitely getting better. The best bite by far is first light. This year there seems to much more sorting than in the past.Good size gills and crappies are there if you wait them out. Tipups have been slow with a few bass and smaller pike being taken.Wonder if anything is going on in front of the marina towords channel?
