what blades work the best for the gas powered augers? right now i have just the regulr blades. But for the 30 that i have you can get d icer blades or the ripper blades which one is better as there is some price difference.

I also have a Jiffy auger. I am wondering what I can do to make it cut better. I bought blades for it last year and it still doesn’t cut very well.
I would like to try a different blade myself. What are the ripper blades & the d icer blades you mentioned and who sells them?
the ripper blades are serrated and the d’icer are supposed to have a coating on them let doesn’t let ice form very easily. you can get like 3-4 different blades for the 30 @ gander mt or fleet farm in winona. wal-mart carries the ripper blade also.
