For you guys who don’t mind a little drive south theres a lake, probably 75 acres down by farmington. This lake is called indian lake and i go there in the spring when the gills are in spawn. About half of what i catch are as big as your hand. With 380 open all the way to Mt PLeasant it wouldn’t be that long of a drive. Go to farmington and ask for directions to the lake, its a turn to the left into the park just over the Des Moines river bridge. I don’t ice fish so i don’t mind helping with spots, its a nice lake and full of nice bluegills. To me it would be a better spot of the spots i know of. Much Much better than Mc Bride.
