Fished Rocky point area this past Friday and Saturday. Friday we spent time around 5 mile reef with limited success. Saturday we went to 12 mile and got on a better bite with most of the fish in the 15 inch size with an 18 thrown in. Red glow rattling spoons and frostee’s tipped with a silver shiners were the most preferred presentation. Fish were moving deeper and the deeper you went the more steady the bite. We fished in 27 foot and probably had somewhere from 30 – 40 ‘eyes. Tuna and Tyler were in 29-30 foot and their bite was so hot they could only keep up with one rig…….. Tight lines and be safe. Yo Chappy, We went out of Arnesen’s resort. We have a couple friends that have year around cabins there so it makes it easy. Sorry to hear that Pine and Morris weren’t givin’ ’em up. Saturday would have easily been a 100 plus day if we wouldn’t have pulled the pin at 11:30 am. With 9 – 12 inches of snow in the forecast we needed to head home and we had plenty of fun by then anyway! Kurt
