We are heading up to Red over the weekend of January 15th. Anyone have any info on the crappies and accidental walleyes?

I also heard that they are catching crappies and walleye all day long which is unusual for this time of year. Are you staying in a sleeper or using portables.

If we are talking about URL I was up there this past weekend and there was a good 20″ of ice. I hear that Hillmans was doing work on their road when some were leaving on Sunday. The day bite was awesome and I heard that some were caught at night, only one walleye, that was immediately released. Good luck.

    Tuck,

We were up there exactly 1 week ago. We went out of Hillman’s and went to the end of the road.
We did mediocre on both crappies and walleyes.
The morning bite was better for us both mornings we were there.

    Good luck to you.
