Today I was able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Extreme temps allowed me to cross channels that were a little on the touchy side last week. I had -20 on I-90 this morning but the first drop in the hole bottomed out the spring bobber. Rocker jigs with waxies were working best for me today, the crappies were a foot below the ice and the gills and perch were within a foot of the bottom. A more sluggish jig upward and no jig down was working for me. As the temps warm up I would expect this weekend to be awsome fishing. Tight Lines

Thanks for the report Joe. Was real nice meeting you a few weeks ago out at HOF. Thanks, Bill

Mike from HOF and RHW found 8 inches of ice in the backwaters by Wabasha today. Ice has been makin and the fishing really sounds good from all the reports coming in on the Rochester Area Lakes Forum. Thanks, Bill
