Spent a little time on fish lake monday evening. There is a good solid 8″ of ice on this lake. The pan fish bite was very slow. We watched a few go by with the camera and that was it. Spent our time fishing around the island. Other guys we talked to had about the same luck.
Not from what I saw. We where not targeting them. Knowing that lake its a good bet they are there.
Looks like the fish have turned on on Fish lake. We had plenty of action between 3 and dark. Lots of sunfish and a few crappies. It looked to me that the spot you set up on determined if you caught more crappies or sunnies.
Plenty of northern action also. They bit of a few of our lines and saw a few others being caught.
What a difference a week makes.
