I have heard reports of people on the north end of Cold Springs..Be carefull out there !!!!

Hey Dave, do they still get those big bluegills like they did years ago about this time of year. I know they come into the warmer spring water when the river gets cold. I remember befor they worked on the bridge years ago there was a nice hole right below the bridge and you could take your pick on the nice bluegills. I remember the highway patrol had too direct traffic at time because the fishing was so good for the nicer bluegills then. When they worked on the bridge it took this hole out, just wondering how the fishing is there now.
ripperPosts: 56December 20, 2004 at 11:42 pm #332708Hey, I was the guy who was out in the middle north end saturday. It was nice fishing without a crowd! Chickens! It helps to be skinny sometimes. Fished the afternoon, picked up a dozen OK size, lots of dinks. Lots of sorting.
Sunday looked safer, there were guys out where I was.
