Got out yesterday to a little lake just east of Cambridge. There was about 4 inches of good ice, for my effort I managed quite a few sunnies and crappies, right up until dark the bite was fast and furious. Biggest Gil was 9″ and the biggest Crappie was 10 9/16″. Got me on the board at Trail’s End in Fridley for there annual ice fishing contest. If you live in the area stop in and check out the contest and the store.

Just stopping at home for a bit, now out to Forest Lake. Time set some tips for ol’ toothy.

After getting blown off Isle Bay Saturday morning, MUSKIES and I stopped at a little lake just east of Cambridge. Ice was 5-7 inches on the 48 acre lake. The panfish bite is still going strong on the 18′-20′ flats.
