Ice conditions north of Amery

    Guys,
    Just wondering what the scoop is on the ice thickness on Big Round, Blake or Wapo.
    I’d like to head-up there this weekend and next.

    I called Gen’s bait shop this morning…888-use-bait.

    They said most lakes have 4 to 5 inches. White Ash is producing eyes and northerns. I didn’t ask about the lakes you inquired about.

    If the weather holds we should have good ice this weekend (I like 8 inches )

    Have you been out fishing yet anybody in this area? Or have you heard any other hot places?
