Powers Lake and Battle Lake by Woodbury Info Wntd.

    Anyone have any info on these lakes? Thanx

    Both lakes used to be good. But over fishing and developement has wrecked both lakes. Powers is deep with not much structure. Little over 35 feet deep if I remember correctly. Battle is shallow with most under 10 feet.

    Man we used to catch some nice eyes out of Powers…..

    My wife said they are fishing/walking on Battle…but you won’t catch me out there for a while yet…

    Haven’t heard nothing on Powers…

    Take a deep breath and wait until we have safe ice…my friend! We want you back to let us know how that house works!

    They were on Battle yesterday. Crazy. That lake had a phenominal gill bite about 10-12 years ago and was decimated. Possible it has come back. You’ll know soon enough if it get’s crowded. It’s only deep and fishable in one small area. If it does come back it will be quickly destroyed. Might as well get in on it.
