    16 deg’s this morning at the big pond! Mille Lacs is starting to show a few signs of freeze up!!!!! this photo shows some skim ice out front this morning.

    looking with the binoc’s..it’s like this for a ways for sure. Ya Mike, much better drive than yesterday morning. That ice on the freeway in Hinckley was bad……rollovers and cars in the ditch. I think Hinkley was running out of EMT vehicles during that time frame. Some rollovers looked pretty bad.

    That pic sure looks ALOT different than the open water pic you posted a week ago. Had 40’s yesterday [Sat.] here in Rochester and as of last night our cold weather forcast for next week has changed to high 30’s and 40’s now. Mother Nature sure likes to tease me with warm temps [want to take the jon boat out] and thinking about ice fishing and with temps like that we will lose any ice that had started. Women, always did have problems with them. lol. [sorry gals, couldn’t resist] Thanks, Bill
