Horseshoe Chain

    The ice on the chain is coming very slow. Most of the deeper areas are still open with ice holding in the bays. It will be a week yet for sure.

    It could be a long wait yet. I looked at our weekend forcast, rain and snow and 44 for a high Saturday-Monday. Could me mid December if we get any rain or snow.

    Hey Scott, I stopped by the Marcum booth at Icefishing Show late Friday night and just missed you. I talked to Paul for a bit. Preorded my Lakemaster LOW chip and drooled over the OVS 560. Hoping to get to the Shoe in 2 weeks. We may be heading to LOW next weekend.

    Must have been late on Friday, I was there until close. But, the last hour on Friday I was out visiting with friends that were working other booths.

    The ice on the chain is coming along slow pretty. Last week a few guys spearing made it out. In driving around this AM I only spotted on house on the lake and lots of open water yet. The 10 day forcast is not looking like ice making weather either.
