Hey man !!
Just a bit to early….I’m excited about this again this year…this will be the 4th year for the P10 GTG,,
I’ll have a formal post when a date is set…Look for the middle of January if the weather holds true !!
November 29, 2004 at 2:56 pm #329384Dave…?
Ya feeling the presure? I’m going to bet we’ll have twice as many folks show up this year as last (wasn’t it 30 or so?). It might help if you keep the thermostat a little higher this year.
I think we are going to have to let Country Kitchen (the buffet people) know that Slop Bass and Mossy Dan are coming this year… so the rest of us will have something to eat…
Herb, I’m buying you breakfast…if there’s any left…
November 29, 2004 at 3:08 pm #329388What are you implying BrianK ?
I’ll be fine as long as the beer prof. brings me a 30pk of Old Style Light
November 29, 2004 at 4:27 pm #329413I will be there this year. I still bad about standing up Briank last year.
By the way slop, there is no way I will ever be buying Old style Light. Now a nice vintage of Mich Golden Light, that’s the stuff. I may have a couple boxes of that with me when I come down.

November 29, 2004 at 5:03 pm #329421Lenny,
I’ll 2nd the Mich Golden Light, , another good reason to venture north of the border.I am already excited about this years GTG. Let’s keep the ice on the river and not the road this time.
daveNovember 29, 2004 at 5:30 pm #329426Agreed on that last point.
Dave, use your crystal ball this time and please… no icy roads.
November 29, 2004 at 5:50 pm #329429Who’s gonna babysit Deezee this year so he doesn’t get himself hurt again? You know his thinking….you got a fourwheeler and you got iceskates, sooner or later someones gonna put them together. J/K

November 29, 2004 at 6:29 pm #329438Do you guys realize how many differant kinds of Mich there is…way to confusing for me…I’ll let gator hand that!
I think Tonya Harding aka DeeZee might be too much for just one person to handle..(I’m going to pay for that)
December 3, 2004 at 1:05 pm #330121If thats the case, I am going to have to ask that we keep all motorized machinery away from Mr. Holst…..We have a slight history when we get together!
Looking forward to it already!
December 3, 2004 at 5:47 pm #330175Just as well, I heard everyone has to walk this year. That way they’ll be sober by the time they get back to the landing.
Except for me and fishing machine.December 3, 2004 at 6:00 pm #330179Dear Steve,
I feel bad for being a part of that whole “broken bone” thing.
So here’s what I’m going to do. I’m going to find me one of those runner sleds and trim it out with garland and fake flowers and one of the restaurant booster seats for you to sit in. I’m willing to pull you out to the fishing grounds using my own two feet. Speeds will not exceed a couple miles an hour. I promise. Along the way you can wave to the others like a prom queen… maybe even throw candy to the kiddies and beers to the grown ups!
Deal?
I just cannot think of a better opening ceremony for our little GTG.
December 4, 2004 at 9:57 pm #330324I think I’ve hear Steve called many things…but

Glad I didn’t go to your school!
John LuebkerPosts: 694December 15, 2004 at 3:38 pm #331882Hey Gary – Red Wing is around 2 hours from La Crosse, and Parie Du Chein is about another 1hr yet. so combined I would say 3 – 3.5 hours. Make a long weekend out of it and come down on Friday a few of us could take you fishing lake onalaska
December 15, 2004 at 3:48 pm #331883Sounds good!
I’ve never been to one of these before.
Besides beverages, a jigging stick, flasher, camera, what else should a guy bring????
Portable shack? Heater? Grill/venison burgers? Auger???
December 15, 2004 at 4:03 pm #331888Herb, Dave and guys usually have their power augers and drill a ton of holes…..so there should be plenty…
I would just bring a bucket w/some poles….hopefully the weather will be nice and we won’t freeze too bad…
We will have to bring a defibulator for JC if we see the locals flopping 3lb. bass onto the ice again this year
Food was provided last year–AWESOME BRATS….i’m sure we’ll get more details once a date is set etc…
December 15, 2004 at 4:12 pm #331889I just want the 12″ bass for quick strike rigs with the big pike!!!
December 15, 2004 at 4:32 pm #331896Don’t keep the 12″‘ers………Slop won’t have anything to catch this summer………..
December 15, 2004 at 4:49 pm #331899You’re back to “hater” status
and if i catch a 12″‘er, it’s only b/c i’m in the back of REELGUY’s boat
December 15, 2004 at 5:45 pm #331915What Slop tends to forget… okay, its a LOT of things… including the ACTUAL measurement of what 14″ is…
But, he seems to not recall that the times we have fished together (in my boat) all resulted in victories… hmmm… perhaps Slop and I should start being nice to each other… and start fishing more together….
Nah, too scary… besides, then where would the conflict come from.
Oh, as a reminder, Slop, if you recall… while fishing in my boat those times, you “missed” the big fish each time… DOH!
December 15, 2004 at 5:56 pm #331918So, never being to Onalaska, what kind of fish ya got in there besides grass carp????
