2 new Berkley Lighting Rods for ice season.

    The Lighting Rod has come out with two new models for this year’s ice season.
    A 18″UL rod that will be awesome for site fishing,and a 27″UL model,it’ll be fun to catch perch with this rod on the IGL’s.

    Berkley rods look nice enough quality and not priced bad. They need to not be so stiff. Their UL is other manufacturers M. I`m not bashing cause their UL makes a good walleye jigging rod.

    Wade,nope those aren’t it.These 2 new rods are the Genz series(IM7) ice rods.They would be like your Pro Series Lighting Rods you eye fish with,just shorter.Scott Reed had alot of input in the design of these rods.They alot closer to a real UL.

    Thanks Ryan. Let us know how they work out this year. Maybe I’ll get a chance to use one with you. I am sure sold on the Berkley Lightning Rods you introduced me to this year. Love ’em for Walleye fishin’!
