One of the many places I perch fish has very stained water and I cannot seem to catch perch consistently, I mark tons of fish I just can’t get a whole lot of them to bite. In the more clear waters I have very good luck with Lindy’s, Buckshots, and even Number 5 Rippin raps in the gold chrome color. Maybe it’s something as simple as a color change? Help me out please!

I would try a very light jig, put a half a chunk of crawler on and fish em sloooowwww. If they are there they will come

Interesting, out in Sodak when I have clear water usually anyting works but tinglers or silver and gold jigs work well. In cloudy water like a guy would think rattle spoons or vibrating blade type baits work well. How many times have you been fishing the darker water, could it have something to do with such as time of day or weather perhaps. Just trying to think it through some more. When in doubt tho perhaps try like already stated a chunk of cralwer on a plain hook. – QB

yup; when sight is limited, you need to focus on vibration and/or smell
Quitin pointed you in the right direction for vibration
to draw perch in with a little scent, I’ve had success with berkley crappie nibbles
