Just want to let u fellas in sodak know the bite was preaty good this weekend. Fished indian and the ice there is about 30 inches but Verry inconsistant. Bite was slow there. Managed a walleye and 2 perch in about 3 hours. Fished dry and the bite was good. The ice was very strong there lots of people driving on it after today i would say NO more driving. Bite was very strong in the morning and evening for the walleye cought about 30 walleye and 10 perch. walleye and perch were mostly cought on a 1/8 gold slender spoon with red tape. cought a few walleye and perch on a 1/16 oz buckshot in glow perch. I would say ice would be safe to walk on for another week or maybe 2. If you make it out let us know how it was!
