Has anyone had an Lx-6 just quit working? It’s not the battery, I’ve tried other batteries from my other flashers…and still nothing. It’s been used less than half a dozen times and I was just curious if others had run into the same problem.

Did you check to see if the cables were properly secured into the unit itself? I would first check all the connections to make sure something didn’t just pop out, if everything is as it should be, then bring it in to Marcum, they have amazing customer service and they will be able to take care of the issue for you!
March 25, 2014 at 4:54 pm #1399212Checked all the connections multiple times, and when I called marcum, I was a little surprised they were going to charge me for shipping to the facility considering it had only been used 5 or 6 times. I may try and return it to the store it was purchased from, but thanks for the quick reply.

March 26, 2014 at 7:15 pm #1399532Did you try and hook it to computer. If it powers up off the USB cable it might show you just have battery conection problem. Herd of someone who had similar problem and it turned out to be ice in the power port.

Well me being some people. Was just pointing out where most of the negative type posts come from. I never pointed any fingers, just noticed a pattern. I don’t make up the rules for this site and am a nobody with nothing to gain.
I also have given back feedback to help these posters. Yes you can have issues with these units but there maybe some out there making crap up. Not all but maybe some. When I see a post that states they have had bad customer support from Marcum I find it hard to believe. Marcum has went above and beyond what they needed to do for me.I also had good support from Vexilar in the past. I would guess that some have malicious intent, but most are just having problems, either real or due to general unfamiliarity with the new units. I know my digital marcum has not been without issues – I’m on my third screen and have experienced one critical bug with the newest version that required a software re-install.
I do agree that some folks get into a petulant frenzy and don’t really even appear to want actual help.
