NE South Dakota ice

    Have a trip planned to Webster area for the weekend of the 22nd, with the warm forecast do you think there will still be good, fishable ice?

    Here is a photo of Big Stone as of yesterday. They had 41″ of ice this winter. It appears that it will be going fast once it really gets going. With it being 60 degrees there yesterday and some more 50’s in the near forecast, it could be getting pretty ugly by then. You should still be able to walk out, but there might be a ton of water on the lakes and make it miserable. I am so excited to see this because I am looking forward to the border opener and even running a couple tournaments out there in late April and early May. Gotta love this weather!!

    We are leaving Thursday at noon. We will be bringing alternative modes of transportation if the need arises. Any new perch info for the surrounding area? Will be nice to see some warmer temps this trip compared to the few prior ones!
